Teaching

From April 2012-April 2014 Dr. Pedram Zohrevand was the Research Assistant Professor at (Florida International University. There he conducted analysis, design, evaluation, and rehabilitation of complex structures. He also managed research and development (R&D) projects.
Main Projects:
• Development of design guidelines and specifications for the structures post-tensioned with carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) cables
• Development of energy dissipating moment-resisting connections using ultra-high performance concrete
• Developing seismic design guidelines for innovative hybrid FRP-UHPC columns
• Planning and installation of the instrumentation and data acquisition system in several structures for structural health monitoring
• Development of seismic design guidelines and specifications for strengthening/rehabilitation of structures using ultra-high-performance concrete (UHPC) and fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP)
Since 2012 Dr. Zohrevand has also been the Adjunct Professor at Florida International University.
Where he can be found teaching graduate and undergraduate courses, including
• Reinforced Concrete Design,
• Dynamics of Structures,
• Seismic Design of Building Structures,
• Strengthening and Rehabilitation of Structures using Advanced Composites,
• Computer Tools for Civil Engineering,
• Structural PE exam preparation
